His broader editorial work has appeared in publications including Vogue, ELLE, GQ, Vanity Fair, People, Entertainment Weekly, The Guardian, the New York Post, Sports Illustrated, ESPN The Magazine and Sportsnet Magazine. His red-carpet photography includes coverage of the Toronto International Film Festival.
Igor’s photographs have circulated worldwide through ZUMA Press, Atlas Icons and agency distribution partners. Licensing and publication of his archive continue internationally.
His music photography encompasses arena concerts, intimate performances, backstage access and rock-music cruises. From 2014 through 2020, he worked annually on music cruises, including Monsters of Rock Cruise, Cruise to the Edge and The Moody Blues Cruise. He also photographed the one-off MegaCruise and Def Leppard cruise.
His approach includes dramatic low-angle compositions, overhead views of drummers and remotely operated cameras positioned directly in front of drum kits, facing forward toward the performers and audience. These techniques provide perspectives beyond the conventional concert photo pit.
His commercial and commissioned work includes assignments for Metal Hammer, Live Nation, well-known rock musicians and bands, and other music-industry clients. He also undertook an assignment involving Taylor Swift. His photographs have been used in advertising for instrument and equipment brands, including Ernie Ball and Pearl Drums. His book and music-release work includes photographs used for Gord Downie biographies and artwork for artists and bands including Tara Lynch, Metal Allegiance, Mike Tramp, SOTO, Billy’s Band, MORRE and UFORIA.
Igor taught concert photography through his established Rockxposure School of Photography. He also served as a judge and juror for the Jazz in Motion photography competition in 2011 and 2012.
He appeared as himself in the 2018 documentary In Your Face: The Neil Zlozower Story, a film about rock photographer Neil Zlozower.
Now retired from active stage photography, Igor focuses on curating and preserving his music-photography archive, including work from 2010-2025. Selected photographs are available as fine-art prints through his official website, www.rockxposure.com. His photographs continue to be licensed, distributed and published internationally.
